This Tutorial will make a soft modification to the console without the need of internal modchips. Just with a PC and SD card. Even make money from this.
Requirements to Softmod your Wii from scratch:
*SD card 1GB or more.
*SD card reader to copy contents from pc.
*Virgin Wii.
*Download the following package compatible to your System Menu.
Enter Wii options to see what system menu is your console.
Note: This method works on LU64 serial Wii’s.
Note: This method doesn’t work on KOREAN WII’s.

Installing Homebrew Channel
Let’s Start Installing HBC for all System Menu:
1. Download your system menu compatible softmod package.
2. Copy all of these files over to your SD card.
3. Insert SD card in the Wii.
4. Click the SD card tab on the main menu screen.
(or enter Wii settings > Channels > SD card)
5. A message will then pop up, click yes.
6. The "Hackmii Installer 0.5" will launch, and from there, install HBC,
DVDX and BOOTMII. (if can't install BOOTMII as Boot2, install as IOS)
- Once this done make a backup of your NAND NOW before proceeding
and when finished too so all your changes, channels and your Wii will
be brick-safe.
Launch Bootmii as boot2: Turn on your Wii with the same SD card
used to install bootmii as boot2 inserted and bootmii should launch.
Launch Bootmii as IOS: Go to Homebrew Channel, then press home
and select launch bootmii.
Bootmii can be controlled by a GameCube controller or using your
power/reset buttons of the console. Use the power button to select
through options and reset to execute. Look for the icon of an arrow
pointing from the chip to the SD card to make the NAND backup.
System Menu 4.2 ONLY!!
System Menu 4.2 Installing the CIOS:
At this point you should have SD card ready with 4.2 package
and running your Wii on system menu 4.2.
When you are on the wii, go to the homebrew channel then:
1. Run Trucha Bug Restorer
2. Press B to choose No IOS Reload.
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Go to Downgrade IOS15.
Press A to downgrade.
Everytime it says “Download from NUS” change it to “load IOS from SD”
3. Run Trucha Bug Restorer again but this time...
Choose IOS15 & press A. (Important)
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Choose IOS36 menu. In there use these settings:
Install IOS to slot (36)
Hash check (trucha) YES
ES_Identity YES
NAND Permissions YES
Then press A on install patched IOS36.
4. Run Trucha Bug Restorer once more,
Choose IOS36 & press A.
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Then Choose restore IOS15.
Press A to restore.
Exit the application by pressing the home button.
5. Next, you must delete the unneeded stub IOS's (important step):
Run Any Title Deleter DB from the homebrew channel.
Choose IOS36 & press A.
Go to System Titles & press A.
Select IOS222 & press A to delete.
Select IOS223 & press A to delete.
Select IOS249 & press A to delete.
Select IOS250 & press A to delete.
6. Return the the Homebrew channel, and then run the CIOS38Rev14b
Installer.
* Choose IOS36 as the IOS to use, and then follow on screen
instructions to install it.
7. Make Backup Launcher Channel:
Go to Homebrew channel and launch the WAD MANAGER.
Select IOS 249 and load from SD card.
Install NeoGamma.
Install Wiiflow.
Exit app pressing B then press home.
Done! Now you can run backups from DVD-R and USB.
System Menu 4.1 and lower
System Menu 4.1 and below… Installing the CIOS (CIOS38 rev14):
1: Go to Homebrew channel and run Trucha Bug Restorer,
load IOS36, press 1, read the warnings then select 'downgrade
IOS15', select to load IOS from SD card then let it do its job.
2: Run Trucha Bug Restorer again but this time...
Choose IOS15 & press A. (Important)
Wait till it says Press 1 then press it.
Choose IOS36 menu. In there use these settings:
Install IOS to slot (36)
Hash check (trucha) YES
ES_Identity YES
NAND Permissions YES
Then press A on install patched IOS36.
3: Run Trucha Bug Restorer again, load IOS36 and this time select
restore IOS15.
CHOOSE "LOAD FROM SD CARD" INSTEAD OF "DOWNLOAD IOS FROM
NUS".
4: Run cIOS38r14 installer select IOS36 as the one it should use
and then select wad install.
5: Make Backup Launcher Channel:
Go to Homebrew channel and launch the WAD MANAGER.
Select IOS 249 and load from SD card.
Install NeoGamma.
Install Wiiflow.
Exit app pressing B then press home.
Done! Now you can run backups from DVD-R and USB.

M.I.A. has been hard at work after the success of “Paper Planes” because of its inclusion in the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Her third album is ready to pop. In other new, US immigration is not too happy with her former Tamil revolutionary family to come see her child. BoomBox reports: “M.I.A., the voice of ‘Swagga Like Us’ and well known for her extremely pregnant performance on said track during the 2009 Grammy Awards, has a new album on the way. Forming a major link between the bigger worlds of hip-hop and dance music and the American underground, M.I.A. has been sending random dispatches from the studio throughout the last few months and seemed to hint at a June 2010 release on her Twitter account last night.
“Banned from leaving the U.S.,” she wrote. “Family banned from coming to U.S. to see me, baby. Recording LP, signing the dopest acts that’s hittin 2010. I think I’m ready.” She then added, “June 2010.”
That first part their references M.I.A.’s Tamil Sri Lankan origins. The U.S. government has continually scrutinized her traveling privileges because of the political content in her music and her father’s position as a militant political figure.
As far as the new record, we can expect production from Diplo, Switch, Rusko, Blaqstarr and Brooklyn’s Sleigh Bells. M.I.A. posted a weird video for a single called ‘Space Odyssey’ recently and Rusko let fans know that the album was completed last week. Get your sound systems ready, people!

Lady GaGa has announced the fact that she is going to work on her third album very soon. The singer is working with RedOne who gave her her first hit with “Just Dance,” but we wish she’d branch out and try new producers. The new album will be put together very soon. Let’s hope for the fourth quarter release. In time for the awards season. We can’t believe she is already on the third one, although this new one deserves a couple more single releases. GaGamania is at its peak so it’s only wise to keep churning out the hits.
Of course having gotten the Rainie album for her songs on Hi, My Sweetheart （海派甜心） I had to get Show’s album too! I love Show, he is so dorky and funny! I think I just love dorky people lol! But seriously this album has songs that makes you want to dance and songs that make you think and songs that make you wanna cry! I screamed when I saw the music video for 習慣就好. To think he was in New York City! He was so close and I didn’t even know! T___T Support this wonderful actor/singer/dancer!!!!
We love Cheryl Cole’s “Parachute” so much that we are calling it 2010’s “Umbrella.” One of our dearest did some research and found out that none other than Ingrid Michaelson co-wrote this song. We are not surprised, it’s a stellar track. It reminds us of the time when we fell in love with Kelly Clarkson’s “Ms. Independent” and then found out that Christina Aguilera wrote it. The single comes out March 15th, 2010. Let’s hope it debuts on top.

After having my iTunes on shuffle his song Extreme Ways, which was used in the bourne films came on, and it reminded me of some of the great music he has produced. One of my favourites is Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, this song is beautiful and if you haven’t heard it before, where have you been?!? Chances are you’ve probably heard it, but not necessarily known who did it. As it says above, he really has had a good at everything and I recommend you try out his album work. (Spotify link)

Considering that I manage a white rapper, I think it’s reasonable that I have a predisposition to prejudicially being critical of other great white hopes. Having put that disclaimer out there, I am a huge fan of Dirty Hank, and he’s white as a coffee table in Medellin. Dirty Hank has a unique ability to straddle a thin line between belligerence and mic prowess. I like it when flows are erratic and abrasive, and his lyrics reek of “rubbing you the wrong way”. I streamed 3 Falside produced joints off the album below, but don’t sleep on Mad Plaid, that kid has a unique sampling ear.

Was listening to My Lovely Samsoon’s soundtrack by Loveholic and reminded of Ja Myung Go, which had starred my favorite actress Jung Reyo Won. I can remember how nice were the soundtracks. And the first song to find was By Myself or I’m alone by SNSD’s Tiffany. I have never thought of SNSD serious (pretty girls singing about shy love in mini shorts) but listening to this song I was pretty impressed. Now I know Tiffany is pretty good singer and Taeyeon is great as well as Jessica. Hope they will do sth worthy in the future.
