Therapeutic Thursday....

(I don’t know what is going to run out first, my motivation for these silly titles, or the words in my dictionary….)

Today, I’m going to bring you a bit of Moby

“Richard Melville Hall (born September 11, 1965),better known by his stage name Moby, is an American DJ, singer-songwriter, and musician. He sings and plays keyboard, guitar, bass guitar and drums. Moby became a successful artist on the ambient electronica scene, and achieved eight top 40 singles in the UK during the 1990s. In 1999 he released the album Play, a mix of melancholic chill-out, ambient music, and upbeat electronica, that was critically acclaimed and produced an impressive eight hit singles (including his most popular songs “Porcelain”, “Natural Blues” and “Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?”). Play became a commercial and cultural phenomenon, selling over 10 million copies worldwide[2] (the biggest-selling electronica album ever) and with its eighteen songs receiving an unprecedented licensing in films, television and commercial advertisements.”

After having my iTunes on shuffle his song Extreme Ways, which was used in the bourne films came on, and it reminded me of some of the great music he has produced. One of my favourites is Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?, this song is beautiful and if you haven’t heard it before, where have you been?!? Chances are you’ve probably heard it, but not necessarily known who did it. As it says above, he really has had a good at everything and I recommend you try out his album work. (Spotify link)

Hope you enjoy and this post helps you know how great Moby is….
